Jeepers Creepers: Reborn will debut during a special three-night fan event in September 2022.
A newly released trailer for the upcoming horror sequel, Jeepers Creepers: Reborn (AKA Jeepers Creepers 4), teases the return of the mysterious monster known as The Creeper. Released via the official Jeepers Creepers: Reborn YouTube channel, the footage introduces us to the latest crew of cannon fodder, each of whom will be tormented and likely gruesomely killed by the horror icon.
Along with the new footage, it has also now been revealed that Jeepers Creepers: Reborn will debut in theaters during a special three-night fan event across the dates of September 19, 20, and 21. Director Timo Vuorensola’s “highly anticipated new chapter in the Jeepers Creepers franchise will come to audiences via a three-night fan premiere event offered exclusively through Fathom Events nationwide,” a statement released alongside the trailer reads.
While horror fans await the release of Jeepers Creepers: Reborn, there will likely be a lot more to look forward to from The Creeper, with the fourth outing intended to be the first part of an all-new Jeepers Creepers trilogy.
“As excited as we are, we know that fans will be even more thrilled (and chilled) to return to the world of the Creeper, now with a much scarier vision from director Timo Vuorensola, who is the perfect fit to restart this franchise,” Screen Media said in a statement regarding their plans to relaunch a new era of Jeepers Creepers separate from creator Victor Salva.
Introduced in the first Jeepers Creepers movie back in 2001, The Creeper is a mysterious demonic creature who awakens every twenty-three years and kills and eats certain parts of certain people for twenty-three days. The character, who quickly became a favorite movie monster following the release of the first outing, has since appeared in several sequels, Jeepers Creepers 2 in 2003 and Jeepers Creepers 3 in 2017, with many looking forward to seeing the creature return under the direction of a brand-new filmmaker.
