LOS ANGELES — Dr. Dre was reportedly taken to a hospital by ambulance Monday after he suffered a brain aneurysm.
As of Tuesday, he was at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in the intensive care unit, according to TMZ.
The legendary producer is “stable and lucid, but doctors don’t know what caused the bleeding and they are doing a battery of tests,” the report said.
Dre, who is 55-years-old, later said that he is “doing great” after the medical scare.
“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes,” Dre wrote on Instagram. “I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
